2023-2024 New Elementary Teacher Grant
The Liberty Education Foundation is pleased to offer up to $1,000 for classroom materials to help a first-year elementary teacher set up their first classroom! Our New Elementary Teacher Grant allows you to purchase items such as (but are not limited to):
Books
Curriculum Aligned Learning Materials
Flexible Seating
Shelves/Storage Tubs
Meeting Area Rugs
Interactive Wall-Art Stations
Organizer Carts
Curtains/Pillows/Fabric

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS
To be eligible for funds, applicants must teach in an elementary setting in Liberty Public Schools and be in their first year of teaching (congrats and good luck!).
Items must be purchased in the 2023-2024 school year.
Let your building principal know that you are applying for this grant!
The selected applicant is required to submit pictures of items placed in the classroom and/or in use within the classroom. Please note that LEF reserves the right to use photos in promotional efforts (print and digital).
The selection committee will evaluate all eligible applications. The overall quality of the application will be reviewed, including the proposed use of items within the classroom setting (how the items will impact student learning).
We anticipate announcing the recipient of the New Elementary Teacher Grant in September.
All materials or equipment purchased with grant funds becomes the property of the school, not the awardee(s). If the teacher moves to another school within the District, the teacher must request permission from the principal to take mater the materials with him/her to a new school.
