We have a number of programs in place to help us achieve our mission to enrich educational experiences within Liberty Public Schools. Our impact extends beyond a single school, it includes all 13,000 students and 2,000 faculty and staff within our 19 Liberty Public Schools.

FACULTY & STAFF FOCUSED

Offering grants to support the creativity of inspiring educators was one of the first programs established by the Foundation. We have proudly awarded more than 750 grants.

GRANTS

NEW TEACHERS

First-year elementary teachers new to the profession receive a $1,000 classroom development grant. Secondary teachers new to the profession are welcomed with an Amazon gift card for classroom supplies.

From back to school treats, to a month-long thankful initiative, to special appreciation events and a lot in between - it is an honor to celebrate 2,000 amazing employees.

APPRECIATION

We serve as the sponsor for the LPS SOAR Awards to recognize employees for Service Over and Above the Rest.

SOAR AWARDS

In partnership with our LPS Social Workers, our Liberty Cares Fund provides assistance to students and families experiencing financial hardship. Learn more and support this special initiative.

LIBERTY CARES FUND

We partner with district social workers to support a Back to School Event for
300 students to receive backpacks and school supplies.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

In partnership with the district social workers, we help stock the district-wide Necessities Closet. Donations are always needed.

BASIC NECESSITIES

Since 2020, the Foundation has paid off over $45,000 in meal debt accrued by families experiencing financial hardship.

MEAL DEBT

We are dedicated to making sure our students can come to school without the weight of adult problems on their shoulders. We offer emergency funds for qualifying expenses.
