$13,000 IN GRANTS AWARDED TO 13 NEW ELEMENTARY TEACHERS

Twelve new elementary teachers received a warm welcome to Liberty Public Schools from the Foundation on July 12, along with exciting news of a $1,000 grant to help them create their ideal student learning environments! A heartfelt thanks to retired LPS teachers, Clara Howerton, and her late husband, Don Howerton, for their generous investment in the future of our educators and students. One recipient already shared, “WOW! I am astonished! I have already felt so welcomed to the Liberty school district, but this certainly goes above and beyond what I ever could have imagined.”
